Not worth the time or money. At one time this was a nice restaurant. The food was above average and the service was excellant and you could relax on one side of the restaurant or party on the bar side.

Now, however, the place is worthless. The food is of poor quality (The prime rib, for example, is tasteless and has the texture of cardboard). The cooks do not appear to know how to prepare beef any way other than well or medium well done and if you send the beef back it comes back to you so undercooked that it is cold inside. The seafood dishes all have a strong taste and order as if the seafood is way past fresh.)

The worst thing about this particular Black Angus franchise is the service. Over the last few years the service has gone from excellant, to fair, to poor to horrible. The employees are so busy complaining and talking to each other that they do not have time to take care of their customers. They spend far more time in the kitchen area than they do out with the customers.

My wife and I used to enjoy this restaurant, so every once in a while we give it another try. However, each time we go back it has become even worse. The last two times we were here (once for dinner and once for lunch) we saw other patrons so upset that they left without finishing their meals. The last time we also left without finishing our meals (We did not even wait for our check, I just threw $60.00 on the table and we walked out.) so I doubt if we will return.

The prices aren't bad and you can almost always get in without a reservation. The food is ok and the drinks, especially the Texas Tea, are pretty good. The service stinks but we like to be left alone so we can enjoy our company and take our time with our drinks. We like to take our time and we order order drinks two at a time so no problem. By the way, the sky high mud pie is delicious and one piece is more than enough for two people.
